Power output has little bearing on reliability for the K9K, the meaningful dividing line is the fuel injection generation. Pre-2009 cars use Delphi injectors with a higher rate of reported injector faults, so a post-2009 example (dCi 110/130, Bosch injection) is generally the safer buy at equivalent mileage.
