All LT2 power variants share the same block, heads, and internals. The horsepower differences come from exhaust system and ECU calibration, not stronger or weaker hardware, so do not choose based on peak hp. Prioritise model year over power figure: 2022 and later cars have far fewer of the early-build DCT, AC compressor, and water-ingress complaints that cluster in 2020-2021 production. A 2024 base Stingray is a safer buy than an early 2020 Z51 despite the lower peak hp of the earlier car.
