The CSL's S54B32HP shares the same bottom end and rod bearing risk as the standard S54, the extra output comes from intake and ECU changes, not a stronger internal design, so do not assume it is inherently more durable. The US-spec 333hp rating is purely a measurement standard difference (SAE vs DIN), not a detuned or safer engine, so it does not warrant paying a premium expecting better reliability.
